Chewie Market
By Clare Considine
Barcelona’s independent market scene continues to grow year on year. And in true local spirit, each separate market supports the competition – ensuring that there’s room enough for everyone. Chewie Market is one of the newest and edgiest offerings. It takes place at the hyper-modern CREC coworking space in the heart of Poble Sec.
Their second edition will pop up on February 8th and you’ll be able to find vintage clothes, records, books and homeware. Plus, you can treat this less as a shopping chore and more as a fun and festive day out – there’s a vermut bar, food stalls, music and a chill-out zone. Zara be damned. This is the new way to shop in Barcelona.
