Christmas market port vell

Ho ho ho! It’s the most wonderful time of the year once more. This festive season, check out Barcelona’s newest Christmas Market, the Fira de Nadal del Port Vell. After all, what better gift for a loved one than a unique crafted item from one of Barcelona's local artisans?
The Fira de Nadal del Port Vell takes place from the first weekend in December until the 7th of January. Located in La Plaça del Portal de la Pau, near the Columbus Monument, it is open daily and offers a meeting point where families will find activities, dancing, music and new experiences with the little ones in the house.
For the 500 and more daily visitors, there’ll be a wide variety of activities including 30-40 free stage shows, a 65-meter-high fairground wheel, a nativity scene and a rest area, where visitors can sit and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate with friends and family.
