Calling all cinema lovers! Ciclo Cine del Barrio (Barrio Film Series) presents four documentaries every Friday in September from 9pm. Hosted outdoors at Ágora Juan Andrés, the cinema series’ selection of films focuses on the description of historical events, problems and transformations the Raval neighborhood.
The Ágora Juan Andrés space is a social space for Raval’s local neighborhood. It offers support to the community and aims to develop activities that can educate and shed light on social issues within Barcelona and its surroundings. The final session on Friday, September 25th, will see the showing of the film De nens, which intertwines the urban regeneration of the Raval with a case of pedophilia and its subsequent trial.
