Conversation with Richard Ford and Borja Bagunyà

In this session, the renowned writer Richard Ford, winner of the Pulitzer Prize and the Princess of Asturias Award, talks online with the writer Borja Bagunyà about his literary career and his views on the current political and social context.
Considered one of the most important American writers of his generation, through his work Ford has offered a social and moral chronicle of American society in recent years. With a body of work that takes a critical view of the United States, his books have become a point of reference in contemporary American narrative.
He is the author, among many other books, of the series dedicated to the fictional character Frank Bascombe: The Sportswriter (Vintage 1986), Independence Day (Knopf 1995), The Lay of the Land (Knopf 2006), and Let Me Be Frank With You (Ecco 2014). His latest collection of short stories is Sorry for Your Trouble (Ecco 2020). Richard Ford will participate in the conversation by videoconference.
