July sees the return of Barcelona’s much-loved music festival Cruïlla, which takes place at its usual home in the Parc del Fòrum. As usual, an impressive array of artists will perform across five stages over the long weekend.

One of this festival’s most positive attributes is that it books musicians from an eclectic mix of musical styles, not limiting itself to one generic pigeonhole. From funk to hip hop, Afrobeats to indie rock, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. 

Here is a quick run through of what you shouldn’t miss from the lineup this year: Avril Lavigne, Pet Shop Boys, The Smashing Pumpkins, Kasabian, TheKooks, Aurora, Oscar D’Leon, Maria Becerra, Ladilla Rusa, Grupo Niche, Selah Sue, Rayden, The Tyets, and Trueno. On top of musical performances, there’ll be silent discos, comedy acts, visual arts and local gastronomy. Day tickets start at 53 Euros. A 4 day pass starts at 155 Euros.
