The Haimney gallery, in collaboration with the MIRA electronic arts festival, opens this exhibition on the use of artificial intelligence to create fictitious realities, transforming ourselves into something that only exists in the digital plane.

Curators Irene Carbonari and Ana Drucker present artists (and their Instagram profiles) who pose questions such as:

How real is the content we consume and share?
What tools do we use to communicate digitally?
What is the information we construct about ourselves?
Do we create fictional worlds or rather preset augmented truth about our reality?

Through the lens of art, the exhibition examines links between technology, communication and social reality – personal and shared – with implications for privacy, democracy and indeed our very conception of reality. The exhibition will run until November 7th.
