Barcelona is fast becoming one of the world’s top destinations for all things sustainable. Our city’s collective love of the anti-throwaway has seen the continuing and growing success of fleas, vintage markets and recycled products in all manner of shops.
Demanoenmano (“from hand to hand”) takes all of these concepts and brings them to you under one very arty roof. Their traveling circus of creative wonderment will be returning to the gorgeous Convent de Sant Agustí this month. Head to the two-day event for a two-sided experience. In one space you’ll find stalls peddling vintage, second-hand and recycled products.
In the other you can make acquaintances with local artists and designers who will allow you the privilege of taking home a piece of their work for a small price.
