For all the metal rock lovers, don’t miss the Canadian singer, songwriter, all-round musician and record producer, Devin Townsend, as he comes to perform live at Razzmatazz.

After helping to found the extreme metal band Strapping Young Lad in the 1990s, he was its primary songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist between 1994 and 2007. Yet, alongside his time within the band he also released solo material under his own independent record label, called HevyDevy Records. After 2007, the musician took a well-deserved time out to be with family before returning to create music.

Described as hard rock, progressive metal, ambient and new-age, his solo music has blurred the lines between a number of different music genres. Across all his bands and solo projects, he has recorded 23 studio albums and four live albums. Back with a fresh solo album, Lightwork (2022), he now embarks on a new world tour.
