In April, promoters LA ASO and theBasement booked Leon Vynehall, Fumiya Tanaka and others for a 14-hour open-air mini-festival of music and cava at the Cava Vilarnau vineyard in the Sant Sadurní d'Anoia area west of Barcelona. Unsurprisingly, this slam-dunk of an idea seems to have gone well, and a second edition, with an even more impressive lineup, is scheduled for this Saturday.
On the main stage, The Basement Soundsystem and a b2b from Hugo Esmeraldo and Pisano are the warm-up for three international guests: London-based Irish DJ/producer Saoirse, pictured, Berghain resident Ryan Elliot and Claus Voigtmann, who started out as the co-founder of the legendarily high-concept London underground party Toi.Toi.Musik. ONA, Sergi and Tamborero form the all-Spanish lineup on the second (Rostro) stage.
The party runs from noon until 2am. Go to the event's page on Resident Advisor for a full rundown of ticketing options, some of which include cava and food tasting sessions along with the music. Round-trip bus tickets are also available on RA, and private cars can also be parked for free at the vineyard.
