Everything Solid Fades Away
By Charlotte Stace
Fundació Suñol welcomed its new exhibition on October 6th, the second of a three-act exhibition that has been curated in collaboration with Valentín Roma. Its aim is to demonstrate the lines of reasoning behind the Josep Suñol Collection, and in which artistic and historical context the collection was created.
Furthermore, the exhibition looks to go beyond the collection, exposing the kind of register of intensities, a way of approaching art with the arguments of each specific moment. The second act, titled Everything Solid Fades Away is a journey through a group of works that allow us to understand how far the abstract drive has or has not exhausted its limits. Its objective is to show the language artist’s use in their efforts to understand chaos within the world.
The exhibition will run until February 2021 and is free to visit.
