Experience MACBA: Surplus

Every Saturday the MACBA’s expansive entrance hall plays host to contemporary dance, performance art and other live performances as part of the modern art museum’s Experience MACBA series.
On March 19th, choreographers Marina Colomina and Magdalena Ptasznik reprise Surplus, a work exploring the awareness of movement by both the audience and the dancers themselves. The performance is organized by the In Situ contemporary dance festival (in which Surplus participated last year) together with the festival’s host, Arts Santa Mònica.
The show starts at 7pm and the €5 ticket price includes free admission to the museum until its closing at 9pm. It’s also worth mentioning the free beer, thanks to sponsorship by Estrella Damm.
