Festival Oui! 2025
By Charlotte Stace

The French are known for their excellent cuisine, fashion, philosophy and art, but their vibrant theatre scene often flies under the radar. If you’d like to soak up some avant-garde French theatre, then check out the latest edition of Festival Oui de Théâtre en Français.
Back for two weeks, this theatre festival is a tribute to French culture through the presentation of plays in French. This year, you can expect to see a fresh range of performances including: Le Grand Jour by Frédérique Voruz, L’Enfant de Verre by Alain Batis, and Être ou ne pas Naître by Lisa Toromanian.
Aside from theatrical performances, the festival will run a series of workshops, readings, and lectures in order for the public, or anyone interested, to learn more about French theatre and speak with theatre directors. The performances will be shown across 6 venues in Barcelona such as The French Institute of Barcelona, Dau al Sec and Real Artistic Circle.
