The Future Music Forum is the annual event of choice for people connected to the music industry in Spain and abroad. This year they share organizing duties with London Sync Sessions, specialists in getting musicians paid by soundtracking TV, movies and adverts, a vital source of income today where streaming is preferred over purchasing a physical record.

Together they have assembled an impressive panel of speakers, including keynote speaker Seymour Stein, chairman of Sire Records (Warner Bros.) and Dante Ross, who has worked closely De La Soul, Busta Rhymes and Ol’ Dirty Bastard throughout his stellar career as a hip hop A&R. Other reps come from streaming host Vevo, distribution service CD Baby and Universal Music Publishing.

The conference is essential for anyone trying to get into the world of music production or promotion, and the social events are the perfect opportunity to swap business cards with people in the same boat.
