Gastrofest KMO

For the food lovers out there, this is one for you. Gastrofest KM0 - a festival dedicated to quality gastronomy that focuses on local products from Baix Llobregat - arrives at Poble Espanyol.
More than 10 selected restaurants will offer the best KM0 dish made with local products from Baix Llobregat such as: Gavà asparagus, the "Pota Blava" variety of El Prat chicken, calçots and artichokes from El Prat. The restaurants will compete to be the winners of the prize for the best dish made with fresh products from Baix Llobregat. What’s more, some of the most traditional gastronomic traditions from Catalunya, such as the calçotada, will take centre stage.
The event will have two main areas, the Plaza Mayor, which will feature the restaurants, as well as the picnic area, where the calçotada will be taking place. To top it all off, there’ll be show cooking, drawing contests and pairings of San Miguel beers, children’s craft workshops and good music.
