Handmade Festival returns to Barcelona for a new edition this month. As the benchmark festival for the handmade community, this event is the home of Barcelona’s creators, inventors, innovators, exhibitors and craft masters. Expect to see a range of exhibitors both locally and internationally this year including Lara Salvador, Ester Ribot, Silvia Chico, Ariadna Ferret, Somniadora, Maduiixa, El Amante Volador, Yuko Nakajima, Olivia Lopez Needlebox, and Lulu Ferris.

This year’s edition also spotlights Japanese crafts. There’ll be a Japan Zone where you’ll be able to learn to make kintsugi, sumi, origami, furoshiki and more from some of Japan’s crafting masters. What’s more, there will be Handmade Kids for the little ones. They’ll be able to enjoy a creative space full of new experiences with several workshops and a completely handmade playground. You’ll also be able to visit the food trucks, concerts and a “chill-out" area to share ideas with your fellow creatives.
