Happy feet

La Filmoteca will screen the hit animation film, Happy Feet (2006). Directed by George Miller, the film features the voices of some of Hollywood’s most celebrated actors: Elijah Wood, Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman, Robin Williams and the crocodile hunter Steve Irwin.
The film follows the story of Mumble the penguin. Unlike the other penguins, who can sing exceptionally well, Mumble is a talented dancer. Unfortunately, this angers the other members of the penguin colony and Mumble gets sent into exile. During this time, he meets the Amigos, who help him to rediscover himself and encourage him to go back to the colony. Yet, a group of encroaching fishermen have threatened the safety of the other penguins and it’s up to Mumble to save them.
If you’re looking for a feel good film for all the family to enjoy, then this is it. Don’t miss it on the big screen.
