Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of Barcelona’s most prominent museums and galleries? This Saturday, February 1st, the fourth edition of In Museu, whose central aim is to spread cultural knowledge and preserve the city’s heritage, will be held.
This event offers the chance to visit these spaces in the company of the professionals who take care of them. The list of the city’s leading museums and galleries that will be open to visit includes MACBA, Fundació Joan Miró, Castell de Montjuïc, Museu de la Música and more. Visitors will have the opportunity to visit restricted areas of the centres and speak to the guides, curators, restorers and archivists whose work supports the collections.
To participate it is essential to make a reservation in advance via the website or in person at the Tiquet Rambles offices located in Palau de la Virreina.
