Ernesto Cánovas’ new show In One Breath, his first in Barcelona, is a homecoming of sorts. Born in Barcelona, the artist left the city at the age of 20 to study Fine Arts in Scotland and currently lives and works in London.
The exhibition comprises a series of mixed media pieces incorporating handmade pottery and inspired in the traditional form of reading a Japanese haiku: in one breath. Cánovas has won numerous awards and exhibited across Europe and in the US.
