In Time with the Seasons!
By Aimee Lawrence
Without a doubt, getting yourselves in front of the big screen for Christmas movies with the kids comes out on top against whatever else it is you might be doing during festivities.
We’ve all got our preferences, but the CCCB is giving us an opportunity to check out a run of lesser-known films that might just make your new list of favorites. Although this is aimed at very young children, aged 2 and above, all films highlight friendship, respect for nature and animals and the joy of living, which all of us can get behind regardless of age. Leading the screenings is Swedish film Songs for Small Children and Animals, an animated film featuring 12 stories on animal life, fantastic adventures and friendship.
Snow and the Magic Trees follows, which comes in from prestigious French animation studio Folimage; and the last run is another French entry, with this one depicting the captured princess and her pull to safety. Get the goodies and grab the kids!
