Swedish musician Jay-Jay Johanson, often called the "digital crooner," has captivated audiences with his hypnotic sound. He began writing music as a teenager, but gained international recognition with his debut album Whiskey (1996). The album blended jazz-infused vocals with trip-hop beats and film-noir-inspired arrangements. Its success propelled him onto the global stage, marking the start of an enduring career spanning nearly three decades.

Over the years, he has cultivated a devoted fan base with underground hits like “So Tell the Girl That I Am Back in Town”, “Believe In Us” and “On the Radio”. His collaborations with Cocteau Twins and The Knife further solidified his reputation in the electronic and alternative music scenes.

Now, with his 14th album FETISH (2023), Johanson embarks on a fresh creative chapter. Moving beyond the introspection of his previous trilogy (Bury the Hatchet, Kings Cross, Rorschach Test), this record balances ethereal, melancholic moods with hypnotic, danceable elements.
