What is there left to say about John Talabot? For well over a decade now, Barcelona's most beloved DJ and producer has been gracing us with perfect records (though maybe not enough of them - 2012's sublime ƒIN is still his only solo album), remixes, collaborations (his partnership with Axel Boman as Talaboman continues to delight) and DJ sets that never dip below the level of exceptional.
Though those who remember his incredible short-form disco sets at various long-ago editions of Primavera Sound may quite credibly disagree, Talabot's DJ sets are at their very best when he has several hours to delve into the un-Shazamable deep cuts for which he is renowned. Add Talabot's semi-regular b2b partner Nicolas Lutz, a kindred spirit from Uruguay with whom he shares a great deal of musical DNA, to the brew, and you have something very special indeed.
