Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, music teacher and shapeshifting drag yenta: for a long time, the artist known simply as Josephine was in other people's bands in New York, but with such an active creative brain it's no surprise that she eventually had to strike out on her own. The Josephine Network (the name refers to a community or platform built around individuals or initiatives connected by a shared goal or purpose, often linked to empowerment, creativity, or collaboration) is the creative vehicle her restless muse demanded, and since the January 2020 release of their first LP, Music Is Easy, she and her band have been developing a captivating blend of garage-rock, punk, folk and glam-rock.

An eight-strong band when playing live, this show will find Josephine and her accomplices promoting their new single, Fat Doll, a glam/garage stomper that's an excellent place to start in getting a handle on the band's sound and lyrical sensibilities.
