Kirko with Circ Raluy
By Charlotte Stace
Barcelona’s very own Circ Raluy is back with a new circus show for fans. The show, called Kirko, strips back circus performance to its most traditional forms, with acrobatics, juggling, balancing, aerial feats, clowns and much more for all the family to enjoy.
Bringing strength, skill and creativity, the circus’ artistic director, Rosa Raluy, promises to bring a show that defies the laws of physics and pushes circus performers to their most artistic limits. Each trick performed will be an exercise in inner balance and exhibitionism, a path towards understanding one of the oldest forms of the performing arts.
The ‘Ceremony Master’, Aleix Gómez, will be accompanied by his partner Lola. Together, they’ll take us on an emotional journey with spectacular moments including the incredible acrobatics of the Ukrainian Troupe “Bar Bara”, and the Icarion Games of the Raluy Sisters. What’s more, they bring us Davis Vassallo, one of the best international clowns on the circus scene today.
