Starting in late 2022, the promoters Golpe de Amistad began putting on parties focusing on darker club sounds: EBM, electro, dark techno and the like. 

The guests they have booked to date suggest their tastes in these directions are pretty impeccable - Buttechno, Inga Mauer and Umfang have played for them in the past year alongside some very well-chosen support acts. The German DJ and producer Lena Willikens is their most impressive booking to date - a phenomenally skilled living legend of long-form, psychedelic, transportative DJing who spent years learning her craft as resident at Dusseldorf's Salon des Amateurs. These days she lives in Amsterdam, where she has nurtured a long and fruitful partnership with the city's celebrated Dekmantel festival and record label, and crafts immersive, mind-boggling DJ sets around Europe and beyond just about every weekend.
