Little Miss Sunshine

What better way to end your weekend than winding down with a feel-good film? To take the pressure off you choosing what to watch, Polaroid bar in Barri Gòtic has made the decision for you. This Sunday at 9pm they will screen the marvelous Little Miss Sunshine.
Made in 2006, the film follows a dysfunctional family as they take a cross-country trip in their VW bus across America, determined to get their seven-year-old daughter into the finals of a beauty pageant. Unaware of what’s in store for them, the family come up against a few obstacles along the journey.
Directed by Valerie Faris and Jonathan Dayton, its stars include Steve Carrell, Toni Collette and Abigail Breslin. The screening comes with the special offer of €5 for a beer or soft drink and the choice between a hot dog or nachos with guacamole to accompany it.
