meat&fire festival
By Charlotte Stace

One of the most emblematic things about summer is the barbeque. And to celebrate a love for all things barbeque, Meat & Fire Festival comes to take over the city for three days in June. It celebrates the primal essence of cooking - fire - with over 30 world‑class grills and international fire‑focused chefs who showcase grilling techniques rooted in tradition and respecting nature.
The festival features showcookings, live music, talks and presentations promoting responsible meat consumption. You’ll be able to attend workshops, culinary demonstrations, artisan markets and discussions on animal respect and sustainable agriculture. It’s also a creative hub with concerts ranging from jazz to rock & roll.
The festival’s aim is ‘to play with fire’, to promote the most primitive side of cooking and celebrate its evolution and our ancestral connection to it. Day tickets start from just €15 - get yours now.
