Origo
By Kit Macdonald

Origo Bakery is renowned for its artisan sourdough breads made from ancient, regionally-grown grains cultivated without pesticides or fertilisers.
Origo began to take shape in 2018, when founder François Halleux decided to change direction. After more than 10 years at Google, he left his career to dedicate himself to what he is truly passionate about: healthy and environmentally friendly food. The budding baker chose to focus on bread, a staple food that has lost much of its nutritional value over the years due to industrialisation. Meaning “origin” in Latin, Origo represents a return to our roots, offering a highly nutritious and healthy bread.
In addition to its exceptional bread selection, Origo serves specialty coffee and a variety of pastries, including cinnamon rolls, cookies and brownies. They also offer natural wines and local artisan products. So, whether you're seeking a morning coffee, a fresh loaf of bread or a delightful pastry, Origo is the place to go.
