Meet Vincent van Gogh

Modest, introverted and poor, Van Gogh probably never imagined that his life and work would one day be material for a high-tech, popular exhibition that would travel around the world. Meet Vincent van Gogh is a multi-disciplinary art experience created by Amsterdam’s Van Gogh Museum, “the international authority on Vincent’s life, ideas and work.”
The traveling exhibition was first launched in China in 2016 and this month arrives to Barcelona’s Port Vell. Profoundly elaborated digital projections recreate his artistic realm and private world across more than twenty screens, providing a multi-sensory journey where one can feel the surface of Vincent’s canvases, see the streets of Paris through his eyes, and hear the wind rustling through the wheat fields that he painted time and again.
Interactions are offered too – try drawing using his perspective frame, or digital painting with the colors from Vincent’s palette.
