Mercat de Mercats 2024 comes back to the heart of the city for its new edition. The Gastronomy Festival par excellence brings a diverse and varied array of gastronomic delights to Plaça de Catalunya once more.
For three full days, the market will be filled with a selection of the highest quality products from traders, local restaurants and Catalan producers. Aside from serving up a delectable selection of food, it also offers a series of talks, presentations, cooking shows and tastings by professionals, as well as a meeting point for journalists within the world of gastronomy. Make sure to come hungry, as there’ll be market stalls, local producers, bars, wine cellars, restaurants, live cooking shows and tastings.
For the children, there will be a dedicated Children’s Area with activities for them to enjoy and a range of workshops centred on sustainability. Visitors can also soak up the live music concerts and DJ sessions that will fill the atmosphere.
