My First Festival 2024 is back this November. A film festival for children from 2 to 12 years old, it presents a unique cinematic experience for the whole family to enjoy. There’ll be over a hundred films from around the world, awards, guest artists, creative workshops, film forums, and so much more.

For some of the children in Barcelona, this will be their first opportunity to enjoy a film festival on the big screen. There’ll be 20 sessions held at La Filmoteca de Catalunya, the CCCB, the French Institute, Bosque Mooby Multicines, Cines Verdi, Cines Girona and the Sant Martí Auditorium.

So, what kind of films can you expect? Some of this year’s highlights include: The Snowman (Nov 9^th), Postcards from the South (Nov 16^th), Root (Nov 17^th), and Fox and Hare Save the Forest (Nov 23^rd). Make sure to check out the full programme online and buy your tickets in advance.
