Numbers
By Kit Macdonald
Glasgow's Numbers collective have been putting on excellent events at Apolo on the Thursday of Sonar week for many years now, and this one looks like a particularly packed two-floor proposition. There's a distinctly Caledonian tinge to the bill upstairs in Nitsa thanks to longtime NTS resident Eclair Fifi's solo DJ set and a b2b set from Glasgow's Optimo (Espacio) (pictured) and Numbers resident Spencer. The upstairs lineup is completed by the French DJ Thérèse Ha and a live set from the Danish multimedia artist Jesper Nørbæk, aka Hekt.
Downstairs in Astin are two more mouth-watering b2bs. The Berlin-based CCL and Objekt headline with theirs, and earlier on the Netherlands' mad miran and Sweden's Peder Mannerfelt will very likely go very deep indeed in their head to head set. London techno duo REZZETT, whose identities were kept secret for a while before being revealed as Tapes and Lukid, play live, and Kinetic completes the lineup.
