Out of the [cage]

Barcelona’s L'Auditori welcomes you to its new show entitled Out of the [Cage] which shows on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th of December.
Step out of the cage and dare to enter a world where sound, noise and silence are arranged to create music. Share the journey through this limitless sound universe with four percussionists who stage 21st-century compositions based on the artistic imagination of one of the 20th-century's greatest figures: John Cage (1912-1992).
Aside from Cage, there’ll be works by the likes of Pierre Jodlowski, Georges Aperghis, Unsuk Chin, Steppenwolf, Fritz Hauser, Mátyás Wettl, Núria Giménez-Comas and Sirah Martínez, among many others. The show is put together with the help of Frames Percussion (musical direction), Iban Beltran and Ana Pérez García (stage direction), Núria Giménez-Comas (sound design), Pablo Carrascosa (real-time electronics), and Pepe Reche (pedagogical direction). Tickets start at 10 Euros.
