Paral-lel Festival

Paral-lel Festival has been doing its thing every year since 2016, bringing superbly curated lineups of experimental, ambient, and techno music to Port del Comte in Lleida. Summing up their aims, the festival organisers write that their event "is characterised by a curated musical selection … based on uniqueness and promoting differentiated musical paradigms. Trying to move away from massification, we created an intimate event with a limited capacity".
Highlights on this year's bill include Voices From The Lake, aka Italian DJ/producers Donato Dozzy and Neel, pictured, Swedish techno hypnotist Anthony Linell, Berlin-based Italian Marco Shuttle and Aaron J, founder of the New York label and event series Sure Thing. Dorisburg and Shoal play live together, while Thailand-based Siamese Twins Records founder Sunju Hargun and the Dutch DJ, aesthete, label-owner and experimentalist Woody92 are two more must-sees on a bill that's full of them.
