Pure Gold. Upcycled! Upgraded!

An exhibition from ifa - Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen - it's offered in conjunction with the Goethe-Institut with the support of the Disseny Hub. The exhibition looks at the reuse of waste items and their transformation into design objects through artistic processes.The cornerstones of this project are ethics, responsibility, internationalisation and co-creation. It has had curatorial input from different parts of the world, from Europe to Asia, Africa and the Middle East, enabling it to offer a wide range of examples of how upcycling adds value to the creation of new objects.
Notably, a presentation of a selection of work by its curator, Volker Albus, will be shown alongside work of renowned figures in local design with pieces of the collections of the Museu del Disseny-DHub.
