Dori Sadovnik and Niv Arzi, the childhood friends from Tel Aviv better known as Red Axes, started making music together when they were 14 and have expanded in all manner of directions since. Initially a four-piece psychedelic rock band called Red Cotton, Sadovnik and Arzi struck out on their own as Red Axes in 2010, taking all the "real band" knowhow they had acquired as Red Cotton and adding swirling, immersive electronics to the mix. The results have never been less than captivating, and lauded artist albums and EPs, DJ mixes, a record label, a festival and a recordings-and-workshops project in Africa have been among the many things that have followed. Red Axes' music has always found its very best expression on the live stage, and the care and effort they put into their live show reflects that.

Downstairs, "Jersey club queen" UNIIQU3, who opened for Beyonce last year, will bring her superb blend of breaks, Detroit-style techno and old-school Latin house.
