As we've previously noted, b2b sets are a major growth industry in clubbing right now, and the best examples of the form tend to come when two interesting DJs who already know each other are given an extended time slot in which to establish a groove and explore the outer reaches of their record collections. This night at Les Enfants Brillants ticks all the right boxes, with the Californian DJ Liquid Earth and Venezuela's Mari.te able to luxuriate in a full six hours together behind the decks.

Liquid Earth, aka Taylor Freels, has been taking tech-house in multiple intriguing new directions for several years now, and a couple of years ago told Bandcamp Daily in an interview that he wanted to "create dance music with evolving and introspective structure. Club tunes with timing switch-ups, counter melodies and emotive intros are the future". Mari.te was born in Caracas and since 2018 has lived in Barcelona, where she launched her label and event series Tresydos and has built a rock-solid reputation for playing superb underground dance music in innovative ways. First-release tickets are still available on RA at time of writing, with an early-entry option priced at €5.50.
