Rumba sunsets 2024
By Charlotte Stace
Poble Espanyol’s summer Rumba Sunsets are making Sundays our new favourite day of the week. From 7pm until midnight every Sunday throughout August, you’ll be able to kick back and relax to the rhythm of the rumba.
Catalan rumba is derived from the Andalusian flamenco rumba, with influences from Cuban music and rock and roll and is one of the most popular local genres of music. At Rumba Sunsets, you’ll get to listen to a range of the best rumba bands in Catalunya.
So, who’s playing? The line-up for the rest of the month features: Muchacho y los Sobrinos (Aug 18th), Piratas Rumbversions (Aug 25th), and Set de Rumba – Tribute a Gato Pérez (Sept 1st). There’ll be live rumba, DJs, a buzzing atmosphere, drink, tapas and much more, all in an unbeatable space - the perfect Sunday night in my opinion. Get your tickets now.
