Sofía + Valen Miau

The Mallorcan artist Sofia does things differently, right up to the positioning of words: she is keen to emphasise that the music she makes is pop-synth, rather than the more usual formulation synth-pop. This is because of her emphasis on "the lightness and softness of pop", which she keeps at the forefront of her songs and the forefront of her thoughts when writing them. Her 2023 album Primeras Grabaciones is a fine place to start on getting to grips with an artist whose expertly realised sound and ethereal yet forceful vocals should translate into a memorable live show.
Support comes from Valen Miau, a multidisciplinary artist originally from Buenos Aires who produces her proudly lo-fi electronic pop from her bedroom. She is joined by a full band live, and will here present songs from her album, Diario de un Corazón Roto.
