SoundEat Plaza
By Matthew Duffield

SoundEat have got off to a flying start in 2019 with a series of parties at Parc del Fòrum and, most recently, La Monumental. The former bull ring on Gran Via and close to Sagrada Família already has a good reputation for hosting a variety of dance events, so it’s well-suited to the vibe of SoundEat, who will be hosting their next party there on Saturday, May 18th.
SoundEat is essentially an open-air mini-festival running from early afternoon until 10pm, where decent food and drink is available, and you can even bring the children. This has helped to create a great atmosphere, but there’s nothing lightweight about the lineups.
There’s a strong London flavor for this event with Mount Kimble playing a DJ set in their characteristic atmospheric house style and Moxie with her house, techno and disco hybrid. Joining them are Pépe from Valencia and Barcelona’s own Sonido Tupinamba
