Startup Grind: Cecilia Tham

Startup Grind kicks off 2018 with a fireside chat with serial entrepreneur Cecilia Tham. The Hong Kong-born, Harvard-educated, Barcelona-based Tham has founded a host of companies in the Catalan capital since moving to the city in 2002. They include coworking space Makers Of Barcelona, digital fabrication lab and coffee shop FabCafe, innovation platform Assemble.rs, transformation agency Making Extremely Awesome Things and FutureFunded.co, a crowdfunding platform to help women learn tech skills.
The serial entrepreneur was trained as a designer and biologist and now helps develop the innovators of the future. She is currently a professor at Toulouse Business School, product strategy expert at Google Developers Group and has mentored at Google Launchpad, Startupbootcamp and Harvard Innovation Lab. At Startup Grind, she’ll share the secrets of her success and the lessons learned from her career as a digital entrepreneur.
