Barcelona summer evenings offer the perfect environment for watching the sunset on the beachfront. And this laid-back picnic adds one useful ingredient - a ready-made group of people who are equally up for it.
Everyone brings a little picnic food and/or drink to share, then settles in for an evening of sea breeze, conversation and watching the sun set over the Mediterranean. All you need to do is bring a blanket, throw in your swimsuit if an evening dip appeals, and come along ready to chat. And don’t worry about assembling a group of people beforehand: the whole point is getting to know new people living in the city.
