Barcelona’s leading art fair - SWAB - returns for a new edition that brings together more than 80 galleries from around the world. Founded by architect and collector Joaquín Diez-Cascón, SWAB has been an independent fair and experimental platform for showcasing up-and-coming artists since 2006.
Held as usual in the Fira de Barcelona, this year’s exhibitors include: Shazar (Naples), Rafaella de Chirico (Milan), Reiners (Marbella), Split (London), Cluster (Rome), Abbozzo Gallery (Toronto), ADN Galeria (Barcelona/Paris), and ATM (Gijon).
One of the reasons SWAB chooses Barcelona as its host city is because it reflects the fundamental principles underpinning the fair: a free spirit and cosmopolitan character. The fair’s selection committee make sure to collaborate with curators and a team that is dedicated to scouting out the freshest and most groundbreaking artistic proposals on the international scene and housing them under one roof for us all to enjoy.
