Two of our favourite American indie rock bands are coming to perform live in Barcelona. The Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie will be continuing their iconic co-headlining tour over in Europe and will be playing at Poble Espanyol’s Plaza Major later this month.

Formed in Seattle, The Postal Service consists of singer Ben Gibbard, producer Jimmy Tamborello, and Jenny Lewis on background vocals. They released their only studio album, Give Up, in 2003.

Also featuring Ben Gibbard, Death Cab for Cutie was formed in Washington in the late 1990s and is composed of Gibbard (vocals, guitar, piano), Nick Harmer (bass), Dave Depper (guitar, keyboards, backing vocals), Zac Rae (keyboards, guitar), and Jason McGerr (drums). They released their debut album, Something About Airplanes, in 1998, and their latest, Asphalt Meadows, in 2022. Don’t miss these two bands live on stage - doors open at 6pm.
