American musician and singer-songwriter Jake Smith, known by his professional moniker as The White Buffalo, comes to Paral·lel 62.
Hailing from Oregon, he’s been writing and touring for the past two decades. After debuting in 2002 with the album Hogtied Like a Rodeo, he’s gone on to produce a total of 10 albums and EPs collectively and served up a variety of songs for TV shows such as Sons of Anarchy, Californication, The Punisher, Longmire, This Is Us, and the surfing movie, Shelter (2001).
Known for his unique musical style and baritone vocals, he blends folk with modern rock, and alternative country and cites his main influences as Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen.
