Veg fest bcn
By Charlotte Stace
Barcelona welcomes VegFest - the first vegan festival to come to the city. Organised by the non-profit organisation AnimaNaturalis, it seeks to benefit their campaigns in defence of animals and promote a cruelty-free lifestyle.
Held at Nau Bostik, the festival will be a space for talks, workshops, cooking and food stalls, music concerts and much more. This year’s highlights include talks about the new animal protection laws from Sergio Garcia Torres and a live podcast stream with Malditos Veganos, as well as show-cooking with Chef Toni Rodriguez. Music will come from DJ Mei Cassano, Hammer to Fall, DJ Numax and Hari Hari, amongst many others.
What’s more, there’ll be activities for all the family including face painting, book presentations, and arts and crafts. If you’re interested in attending this fun and informative festival, make sure to buy your tickets in advance.
