Victoria Canal comes to Sala la Nau this October. With her emotive and moving pop music, the talented 25-year-old Spanish-American singer, songwriter and producer has exploded onto the European music scene in recent years. After releasing her first single, ‘Unclear’ in 2015, she’s gone from strength to strength and, in 2023, she won the Rising Star award at the prestigious Ivor Novellos.
For the past two years, she’s used her musical gift as a way of processing a period of grief. The result was 2022’s ‘Elegy’ EP, a bittersweet collection of tracks including ‘Swan Song’, which was described by Coldplay’s Chris Martin as “one of the best songs ever written.”
Now, Canal is back with her latest EP ‘WELL WELL’, released earlier this year. With this record, she turns the camera back on herself, zooming in deeper than ever before.
