VINT: Lapsus 20th Anniversary

This mouth-watering 10-hour blowout is a 20th-birthday party for Lapsus, a multidisciplinary artistic platform that since its foundation in 2004 has developed a veritable portfolio complementary projects: Lapsus Radio; the weekly Lapsus programme on the national station Radio 3 (RNE); the record labels Lapsus Records and C.E.E., the creation of diverse cultural events; and, since 2017, the artistic direction for the LAUT club in Barcelona.
The first part of the evening at Parall-lel 62 is given over to live sets and features a living legend of synthesiser music in Suzanne Ciani, pictured, who'll play her remarkable quadraphonic live show. Also playing live are the Catalan vocalist and producer Marina Herlop, the UK's Martin Jenkins, aka Pye Corner Audio, CLARAGUILAR, Wooky and Pina. After midnight there will be DJ sets from Kode9, Huerco S., Lapsus's own Philip Sherburne, Ylia b2b Phran, and what is billed as "a six-handed session by Lucient, Nahoomie, and a VERY special guest will put the finishing touch to a day celebrating 20 years of support for independent culture".
Doors are at 7pm and tickets can be found on Dice for the whole event (at around €44), or just for the midnight to 5am part, for around €20).
