Woman's Essence 2024

Celebrating women in the contemporary art scene, Woman’s Essence comes to Barcelona to showcase some of the best artworks by women internationally.
The art show was created to give more women in art the visibility they deserve. It aims to support their efforts and offer them a stage to display their work on. Created by Natalia Gryniuk in 2015, it has since had seven successful editions in European cities such as Milan, Paris, Madrid, and Berlin. In recent years, more than 250 female artists from all over the world have participated in the project. The selected artists, in addition to exhibiting their works, receive the annual prize WAA Woman’s Art Award established by Musa International.
The project represents contemporary female artists who are trying to break down barriers, change up the art scene and thrive. The show offers a space to view art, network with female artists and soak up some of contemporary art’s most impressive cultural offerings.
