In a sea of tapas restaurants, it’s hard to stand out in Barcelona. But that’s what makes MEZZ so unique and special. Honouring the vintage French cuisine of the 1970s, it takes (arguably) one of the world’s best cuisines and throws a contemporary spin on it.

Sitting in a small space on Carrer de la Riera de Sant Miquel in Gràcia, at first it’s rather unassuming. But head inside and it's like time travelling back to France in the 70s. From the old-school decoration to the vintage HiFi, it manages to create a charming nostalgia.

MEZZ is all about seafood, meat, natural wine, good bread and, above all, cheese. Choose from small plates or larger boards. We’d recommend the beetroot and mushroom tartar with aged sirloin and cured yolk, or the rillette (a French classic!).
