Rasa

You could make a meal of the chaat at Rasa before getting anywhere near a curry: pani puri, dahi puri, samosa chaat and stuffed aloo tikki all feature. Opened in February 2026 near the lower end of La Rambla, this inexpensive Indian restaurant belongs to the Atithi Group, whose other restaurant, Atithi, is near Sagrada Família. Rasa takes its name from the Sanskrit for “essence” or “flavor,” and the chefs draw on family recipes, adjusting dishes to your taste.
The Indo-Chinese section runs from chili chicken and chili paneer to chicken or vegetable Manchurian and chow mein, with momos also on the menu. For a longer meal, the tandoor turns out salmon and lamb chops, followed by a choice of four biryanis or curries including Kashmiri rogan josh and Malabar prawn. Butter chicken and garlic naan remain familiar options, with gulab jamun for dessert.
